Bethanie Bayha
PT, DPT, OCS
Bethanie is a physical therapist and senior clinic director for PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Seattle, Washington. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound in 1997 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2001. She is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and has completed the Gary Gray Certification in Applied Functional ScienceĀ®, FMS Level 1 and 2 certification, and the Advanced Functional Biomechanics of the Lower Quarter: Principles of Evaluation & Treatment Certification Program.
Bethanie has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages, activity levels, and complexity. She is an active member on the Seattle Pediatric Sports Medicine ACL Injury Prevention Task Force and presented the program on behalf of the task force at the WIAA Coaches School and the PTWA Conference. Over the course of her career, she has written several articles and provided educational talks on a variety of topics, including bike fitting, sport-specific functional strengthening, dynamic mobility, and injury prevention clinics for cutting sport athletes, rowers and paddlers, triathletes, and runners. She designed and developed a class on nutrition for active adults, which she taught as a continuing education course for physical therapists and athletic trainers. She also developed and led an eight-week functional core strengthening class series for several years.
